Marlis Update

Hey Kathy,

I have been thinking about you alot this past week.  Marli has come a long way.  SHe is sleeping in the crate at night and she even goes in there during the day when we cannot be with her.  As of right now, we are trying to adjust our schedule so that it limits her crate time to 2-3 hours.
I have regulated her eating so that she eats 3 times a day.  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  We also regulate the amounts of fluids that she intakes so that we can better predict when she needs to use the bathroom.  It works for her wee-wees but it does not work for her BM's.  She will not use the bathroom all over the house.  Only by the front door which I think is great because we can migrate her to the outdoors.

However, using the bathroom outside has become somewhat regular.  We are still working but she has come a long way.  But she is biting all the time, now.  She has several chew toys, she likes to want to bit our toes and hands, but I am pretty sure that this is a phase.  I have not forgotten about your pictures. There is no room on my camera. ( i need to get a new digital disk)

YOu have taught me well and we will be attending puppy classes in the month of April and I will have even more good news to report in May.

So glad to hear that little Marli is being such a good girl, and you are getting on with her training so well, she sounds like she is doing brilliant and well done to you for all your hard work, they are not easy these little pups but oh so worth it.

Her chewing im afraid is a phase she will go through, but loads of toys and chewies as you are doing is the only thing that you can do.

Looking forward to receiving some pics send them to my eamil address when you get them then we wont have to go through experts site, sorry i meant to send the message to your email, i will do next time.
