Home cooked recipes

Question
Hi Delores, we just got a 2 year old boy cocker spaniel (his name is Shady)  and I would like to feed him home cooked meals. Could you give us a coupe of easy recipes? I had a Irish Setter a long time ago, and I would cook batches of ground beef or turkey, rice and shredded carrot. Will this work?

Congratulations on the arrival of Shady :)

A couple of questions:
Are you thinking of doing totally home cooking or a few times a week?
Does Shady have any health issues (even minor ones)?
What are you feeding him now?
