Crate training/feeding

Question
I am a new mommy to a 11 week old Chi.  I'm told that she should be fed 3 times a day due to her age.  I am feeding her at 7:00, a.m.  If she has eaten it all, again at 12:00, and again at 6:00, if she has eaten it all.  At the moment not crate training, but am going to begin that soon.  My questions are (1) how much each feeding should I give her, (2) are the times ok, and (3) how much time do I need to leave between her eating and before putting her in her crate?

thank you.

Answer
Hi Cheryl - BEST wishes on your little Chi!!!  Yes, she should be fed 3 small meals per day .  When she is an adult she will need 2 meals per day, to avoid low blood sugar problems.

Looks like the feeding times are fine.  Also, I would like you to add the NuVET Puppy vitamin powder to her diet.
NuVET is for all ages and stages...Will protect her legs and knees.  Chi dogs have patella, knee problems...... VERY common.
This supplement will be great for her!
