Blue eyes in a boxer

Question
I have heard rumors that a blue eyed all white boxer is born with hearing lost. Is this part of the genectics? I want to purchase a new born like the one I described.

Deafness in white Boxers is caused by a lack of pigmentation; white Boxers with blue eyes have less pigmentation, so are more likely to be deaf, but it is not a foregone conclusion.  The breeder can do BAER testing at or after five weeks of age to determine hearing status.  

I should point out that all puppies are born with blue eyes, though they are darker blue, not the 'ice blue' that adult Boxers with blue eyes have.
