Question
i have a male boxer puppy, i brought him to my place 3 days ago. A cute and an active baby but dont know what happened to him since afternoon he isn't eating anything and have loosemotions and vomitings too. I took him to the vet and he gave him some medicines and the gap of moions n voomitings increased. But the baby is not active n not eating at all. What should I do?

Answer
Hi Rahil. Did your puppy have something called coccidia? If that's what he had, then it will take him a little while to get better. He may not eat for a few days, you want to have water out for him at all times right now. Try to coax him to drink. Get some Gatorade or Pedylite. Drinking right now is the most important thing he can do. I wouldn't worry about the eating for a few more days. He'll probably get kind of skinny, but that's ok as long as you can get him to drink. Put some water in a dropper and force him to drink every hour or so. It doesn't have to be a lot of water, anything you can keep down him is great. If the vomiting or diarrhea gets worse, take him straight back to the vet. He can give him medication to stop the vomiting. Just keep trying to get him to drink, let him rest, it may take him a  while, and take him straight back to the vet if he doesn't get better. Good luck.
