Question
QUESTION: How much should I be feeding a 16 week old Boston Terrier? She is currently 6.3 lbs. The guideline on the dog food bag is too much.
She seems to be gaining too fast.

ANSWER: Hi Suzanne!  Best wishes on your NEW Boston puppy...  Can you please tell me what Brand you are feeding your pup....?  ( flavor and brand)

I would love to help....  Is she on any vitamins, oils or supplements?

Get back to me ASAP...

QUESTION: She is on Eukanuba lamb & rice puppy food and Fresh Pet Select chicken, vegetable & rice for puppies (this is a log like liverwurst that is cooked and refrigerated). She also gets one Senior multi vitamin.
Thanks

Answer
Feeding a Boston puppy;
Hi again,  The Eukanuba dog food has too many fillers in the ingredients.  How about looking for a better brand???   I sure do like Wellness or Innova puppy dog food.  Just follow the back of the bag for amounts to feed.  Also, the Fresh Pet Select is very good.  YOU can use this as a between meal snack or as a meal.  YOUR dog should be getting at least 2 good meals per day.
As for vitamins - I have many of my Boston Clients on NuVET plus - Much better than the Senior multi vitamin you are currently using.
