ears?

Question
lately, my cat has been moving her head in such a way that it seems her ears are bothering her and when she does this her ears are sensitive, i.e., she dosen't like me to touch them.  after the "spell" passes, she's fine and lets me touch her ears.  when she scratches, it seems she scratches her head (behind the ear) because maybe the ears are too sensitive?
any ideas?
thanks!

Answer
Hi Deb,

I think you need to take her to the vet.  She obviously has ear mites, or something else going on in there that is painful.  Cats ordinarily love their ears scratched, but if yours doesn't, then there is definitely something wrong.  I urge you to seek professional vet's help.  I hope I have helped some.  Write again if you have further questions.  I always like to help.  Barb
