MALE CAT SPIITING UP

I HAVE A 2YR. SHORT HAIR DOMESTIC HOUSE CAT THE MOST HE GOES OUTSIDE IS THE FRONT PORCH, FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS HE HAS BEEN SPITTING UP, I DON'T THINK HE IS SICK HE IS PLAYING FINE. HE ONLY EATS DRY FOOD AND SOMETIME 9 LIVES BEEF AND GRAVY. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM TO MUCH HARD FOOD?

He may be trying to get a hair ball up or he may be eating too fast.  Is it actual food that you're seeing or just liquid, like bile?  How are his stools?  Are they normal or like diarrhea, soft and smelly?  You can try getting some "Petromalt" or other hair ball remedy at your local pet store and see if that takes care of the problem, or he may be having an issue with intestinal parasites (worms) that would require a trip to the vet.  Try the hair ball stuff first and see if that helps.
