My cat stopped labor...?

Hello there. I have a 2yr old kitty who had 2 babies 46 hours ago...!? The first she ate, and the second one was still born. I can feel at least one in her tummy still. I called an emergency vet and the asst. told me that sometimes cats can stall labor? My kitty is not distressed and is acting like nothing ever happened. She seems happy and she is eating and drinking. If it is not a baby that I am feeling in her tummy...is it possible that she only had 2? It is her first (and LAST) litter. Thank You. Jessica

Hi Jessica,

You will need to get her checked by a vet. I just has someone ask the same question not too long ago. I advised them the same thing as I'm telling you. Have her checked by the vet. It could be nothing or it could be serious. The people had felt something too. It turned out to be the bladder. But they felt better knowing. Have her checked on Monday. It will make you feel better and will be the right thing to do. Good luck.
