stalling labour

Question
I have a siamese who started labour yesterday. ( she is 3 and this is her first litter.) her first was stillborn, there was nothing we could do so we took it away so she could continue. when she had her second she showed NO interest I had to remove the sack, clear  passageway and even cut the cord. then she stopped labour. that was 24 hrs ago . I Know there is more kittens to come I can see and feel them move. she doesn't seem to be in pain and she is eating amd drinking.is it normal to stall labour this long? is it because of the stillborn? p.s. she never showed interest in the second kitten but we have another siamese that delivered 3 days ago and she took the baby. also she still ( as far as I know) hasn't passed the placenta for the second kitten.

Answer
Hi Ashley, if you are sure that you can feel kitten movement then you need to get her to a vet to start her labour up again.. although it might be too late and she will need a c-section. It is ok for a cat to be 24 hours in total to deliver a litter.. but if it has been 24 hours since her last kitten.. then she needs to see a vet before you lose the kitten(s).
