Question
I have a 14 month old cat that vomited several times (7 or 8) Friday night and so I took her to the vet on Saturday and they did blood work and gave her fluids but he wasn't able to find anything wrong with her.  I brought her back home and she is doing better (she has vomited again but she atleast is becoming a little more active and she did eat a little) but she will not drink any water.  I am very worried about her becoming dehydrated due to all the vomiting.  Any suggestions for how I can get her to drink something??  Thank you!!!

Answer
Kara,

Drinking is VERY important. Dehydration is serious!
Try canned chicken broth. A lot of cats will drink that easily; put water or broth in her dry food; using canned food gives the cat liquids; or  add some low fat milk to the canned food and mix it. Anything she eats add some kind of liquid to it. You can tell if she is dehydrated by pulling on the skin her back. If you can pull up alot of skin then she is dehydrated.

It sounds like she might have gotten into something toxic. I am including, just FYI, some links with lists of toxins around the house to be careful of (copy and paste, or type, the whole link into your address bar):
