Question
My 14 years cat is unwell and I have been told to give him Vitamin B12. I have B12 50 microgram tablets but no sure how many I should give him every day. He weighs 3.1 KG, he is having chicken tin food and vitamin B3 I think.

Answer
Hello Nahid, I am sorry your 14 year old cat is ill.  It would be better to get an injection of B12 from your local Vet office:
The Oral/ by Mouth dosage is (1) 3 mg tablet daily
(3 mg tablet, once a day. Methylcobalamin )  YOU will need to consult your VET off this proper dosage for your Cat.

A B-12 injection,**Vitamin B-12 has great reparative and rebuilding properties any time cells are being destroyed.  It's also calming to the gastrointestinal tract.

It aids in building red blood cells, too, and some kitties become anemic due to distemper.
B12 can be given subq every 10 days.

If you want to do it yourself, have you vet do the first shot and how you how.  You can then continue this at home without your Vet.

HOPE this answers your question?
Blessings to you
