My ten month old kitten

Hello,
     I have a 10 month old BSH silver tabby x silver tipped kitten. We havn't had her spayed as we hope to have 1 litter of kittens from her on her third season. However, she still hasn't come into heat! Or is it possible that she has and we wouldn't notice? If she still hasn't, should  I be worried? Thanks alot for your time

The British Shorthair is a very slow developing breed.  So, at 10 months of age, she very well may not have had a season yet.  This is a very normal happenstance.

There are what we call "silent seasoners" who come into season, but only a male would know it.  In these cases, they girl has to live with a whole male.  The problem herein is that if you do not witness a breeding, and she starts to plump up, you do not really know when the kittens are due!
