Crying baby Siamese

Question
Just got a new female Siamese.  She cried non-stop for two days, good for one, and now is crying again.  Is this a permanent behavior or one that will eventually stop?  Help!

Answer
The Siamese is the most talkative of all breeds.  You can expect that she will be pretty vocal, especially when in need of your attention.

However, they also tend to be very affected by change, such as going to a new home, because they make especially strong attachments to their owners.  It's normal for them to cry nervously for several days, but I am certain she will quiet down quite a bit once she's settle in.  It may take a week or two, depending on how sensitive she is, but you should see improvement shortly.

Congrats on your baby!  I sincerely believe you will be thrilled with your new companion.
