Is my cat jealous?

Ok, my cat of 2 years,Bob,has always been the only cat I've had, but about three or four months ago that totally changed. A gray, old cat came up and tried to eat Bob's food, so we fed it some food because it looked like it hadn't been fed in a few days, so it started begging loudly every day for food, so we fed it every day.Now, it thinks it belongs to me. Bob is hissing a lot because the cat tries to rub his scent all over the place outside. Do you think Bob is jealous?

Yes, cats are territorial and possessive by nature. So now Bob is jealous. Bob mimic a snake and hisses to defend itself. What you can do is to reassure and comfort him so that he will know that you still loves him. It could take months before Bob can get used to the pressence of the gray old cat.
