QuestionHi, I have a 12 year old cat who has some litter problems. He has clumping litter stuck to his foot. It is so deep and hard that soaking and scrubbing cannot get all of the litter out of his foot. Is there anything we can use to safely break up the litter so that it is easier to remove? Thanks!
AnswerHi Deborah,
I would do two things. First, if you haven't yet, change the brand of clumping litter you are using. You can use one of the cedar ones. They work great and you won't have that problem. Next use Dawn dish soap. Try soaking his feet with a water/soap mixture of that. That should do the trick. Good luck and let me know what happens.
