cat abuse?

I think my sisters boyfriend tortured her cat to death... but im not sure and have no proof of this, though i am aware that he does "play rough" with the cat on a regular basis because the cat is terrifed of him and i have personally seen it happen before. so the cats sudden death concerns me... he said he was giving the cat "a bath" and this was without my sisters knowledge (she doesnt trust him with the cat) and when she found out, it was already too late. the cat was sitting in the corner of their bathroom terrified, and she asked the cat to come to her but it didnt even have the energy to get up, so my sister picked it up and she said it's lips were drained of color and it shit on itself before it died. do you think he might have maybe choked and suffocated the cat? and also the cat is missing his bottom lip -- we believe my sisters boyfriend cut it off when he was "playing with it" he claims it was an accident but i dont think so. ive seen him squeeze the cat and even choke him and when i would ask him to stop it or try to take the cat away away from him he just pretends he doesnt hear me. this guy is truly a voilent person if he is capable of torturing a cat to death and im scare for my sister if they ever get serious. what do you think?

Were I your sister, I would run the other way as fast as I could.  The kind of person who would torture any small animal tends to have low self esteem and does not care about anyone else but themselves.

I am not a psychologist, but I am with you, it all looks awfully suspicious.  When in doubt, get out of the situation.
