kitten-id.jpeg Hello Norm, Can you help me identify the colour of my siamese kittens. The red point (not included in the photos) was easy, the other three are a mystery to me. Teddy looks like he is a lilac, is the dark one, GreyFox a Seal-lynx, blue-lynx, a dark blue point? Is Ricky a Seal-Red? Hope you can help. I've included a picture of the mother as well. All the photos are in the same file.

OK, the sire is a red point and the dam is a tortie lynx point. So, you can get red or seal males or red or torty females with or without lynx points. If the sire and dam both carry chocolate, you can get chocolate or chocolate torties as well. In addition, if both carry dilute, you can get cream and blue cream points lynxed or not. If they are both carrying both chocolate and dilute, they can get cream or lilac cream.

It can get very complicated.

Even worse, it often takes until they ar 4 or 5 months to know for sure.
