my cats eyse

I have over 2 years old Siamese cat, all that years he is with me from newborn, I am feeding him with Purina and Friskies canned meet,,the problem is that probably his eyes are not reacting on light, not changing,,he getting also the cat's vitamins with taurine,,I am not really sure, but when is too much light he is closing his eyes,what kind of reason could to damage his eyes,but I am not so sure that this is happening, I need to go to Vet. for an examination, but I am just asking , hopping to get good advise,,Thanks Wieslaw

There are usually not very many common diseases in cats that attack the eyes permanenetly, but I am not a vet.
However, there are a number of illnesses that can make a cat over sensitive to light on a temporatry basis as a side effect.  So, there may not really be damage to the eyes.  You will need to see your vet to find out what is really going on.
