Question
She has one litter a year and looks pregnant for aa long time.  My friend said manx only have one litter a year, is this true?

Answer
Janet,

A female cat can come into season when kittens are only 4 weeks of age (called a lactation heat).  Given that the gestation of any cat is about 2 months and we can be conservative about heats, so that a female cat could have up to 3 litters a year.

Manx are no different.  So, it may be entirely possible (maybe even likely) that your Manx is pregnant again!!!!!

So, whoever told you Manx can only have one litter a year is not correct.

Best regards... Norm.
