cat accident

Question
Hi I have a cat that was hit by a car 3 weeks ago we found him 5 days after the accident and when we found him he had been hit in the side of the head and lost his right eye and it had to be removed.
The other eye does not look to good it is completely black. Its looking lazy and drifting off to the side.
Can you also please tell me if he is in pain? And how long does it take for the blood to go away?
Its really sad to see him like this because the vet told us
the eye was going to be ok.

I would take the cat back to the vet and have him reassess the left eye.  It does not sound right to me.

As to pain, it is hard to say. Cats are very stoical about pain and often hide it well.

Please let me know what your vet says.
