my kitty

I just adopted a new kitty who is 10 mon. she was fine when i met her. she went to the vet today for her first checkup.they said she had a small bactria cold and ear mites.she is being treated. well when i brought her home she started walking funny.her hind legs are spread really far apart and her butts in the air but she doesn't act like shes in pain. what can be wrong.

Is your cat spayed? If not she may be going into estrus which means that she is indicating her readiness to mate. If the cat is spayed I would be concerned that she's having some sort of neurological problem and I'd recommend that she be seen immediately by a qualified vet to diagnose and if possible treat the underlying condition.
