QuestionOur 19 year old has kidney failure and we have been feeding her a diet low in phosphates while doing sub-q fluids. She is loosing weight. We were told by someone at a major pet store that giving her kitten formula wet food will help since it has more fat and calories. Is this a good idea?
AnswerHi Dan - Try some of the SoJo cat food mix and add it to the food you are currently feeding - SoJo is almost home-made - you add the lightly cooked ( white) meats to the mix.
Do 1/2 your brand and 1/2 the Sojo and see....
