Six-year old cat with Diarrhea

Question
My six year-old male Siamese cat, Snoop, is having watery stools for about three days now. I feed my cats Iams Natural then I switched to Wellness Core. I did the switch gradually over a week. Snoop started having watery stools two days after I feed Wellness 100%. My 1 year old girl cat, Missy (also a Siamese) is doing okay, though. I decided today to take out the Wellness and feed them again with Iams. My questions are,(1) what are the signs to look for that will tell if I should bring Snoop to the vet; (2) is Wellness Core known to cause diarrhea in cats; and (3) if I cannot feed them with Wellness Core, what other grain-free dry food or other dry foods better than Iams can I give them? Appreciate your help. Thanks.

Answer

NuVET Plus for Cats -
Hi Cathy - the Iams brand is loaded will junk fillers.... Wellness is pure and quality.  It may just have been too fast.  I like to do a 50/50 mix for about 2-4 weeks.
Put the kids on Wellness and Iams - do a 50/50 mix for at least 3 weeks.  Also, add some PURE canned pumpkin to Snoop's food - this will help his stools to be more solid.  Also, very good fiber for Snoop.

Wellness doesn't cause loose stools if you go slowly.  YOU are offering them Quality and their systems are use to junk...
So, it will take some time to get them accustomed to the new food.

Sorry to call the Iams junk - it is a fair food.

I sure hope this helps!
Try some NuVET Feline Formula - great for the Immune system:
