Question
We have 2 domestic short hair kitties. One is about 3.5 and the other we are unsure of her age, she was a stray, but appears to be about 5 years old. We've tried so many different types of dry food: purina, science diet, royal canin and most recently the kirkland's brand from costco.
Nothing has been better than any of the others, and I'm just unsure of where to go from here. We are constantly find small piles of vomit from the cats, and while we're not entirely sure, we're fairly certain it's both of them.
Would a canned food diet be easier on their stomachs? What should I look for in a food to make sure it would be better for them?
Thanks!

Answer

nuvet powder for cats

Yes Christie:  How about leaving some dry food out during the day?  ( Innova or Wellness are great brands for cats)
NEXT : yes - feed wet canned food 2 x per day - just 3-4 teaspoons 2 x daily...
Please mix in some NuVET plus for Felines -  just 1/4 of a teaspoon per day per day-
This is 1/2 the regular cat dosage of NuVET - Just to give them a little x-tra nutrition and help with the vomiting.

( when you call the NuVET folks tell them you only want the 30 count bottle for $20.00)
Explain Marie wants them to just have a small amount of NuVET Daily - In time, you may be able to give them more NuVET Feline - to start with .....start out small.
Call 1-800-474-7044  ( tell them you are working with Marie of Ask the pet nurse)
use order code 81098 /
They give a 60 day money back guarantee.

YOU need to call in your order for smaller sized bottles of NuVET ---- the web site doesn't show all the smaller sizes.  thanks

Make sure you feed the cats 2 WET food meals per day -
Only leave 1 cup of Dry food out per day.
( If they eat it fine, or they may just eat 1/2 of it)
