Question
Recently I recieved an answer from this and was recommended a raw diet for my 5 month old kitten rather that a diet geared to veggies all day in between meat meals ( bkfst & din). The brand Wild Kitty was mentioned so I went on the website and found a store in my area that sells Wild Kitty. Sadly, this store stopped selling the brand about 5 years ago after a recall or something, but, since I was there I purchased a different brand of raw by the name Primal Pet Foods. My kitten vomitted several times the first time I gave it to her, event though it was mixed with her regular food as suggested, the next day she refused to eat this stuff. the first time it was cold, the second time it was warmed. Nonetheless, I need her to switch because she's teetering on the edge of being obese, she is always hungry eating this OTC food in the supermarkets. I must get her into a high protein diet, could it be the brand? This food was so costly, I only hope the store owner will refund. The store owner also suggested I purchase(which i did) Salmon Oil, he said her coat looked a little dull and she really needs the fish oil....yet this food is not a good look for her, what should i do?

Answer
Hi Lee, so sorry you are having troubles locating a good food:  SEE if you can find the SoJo's cat food mix :  You add your own lightly cooked or raw meat to the mix.
This is a wonderful food:

Also, pure salmon oil is fine for you cat.  ( just give 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per day)  Start out with just 1/2 and see how she does.

Good luck guys!
