cat food

Question
I have 14 cats, One is on a prescription diet for UTI. A few are overweight.I want to feed them a good food to keep them healthy, also shed a few pounds. Right now I am feeding the 13 of them Purina special diet. Some don't seem to totally love it. I take very good care of my babies,Dr's visits when needed, frontline for fleas etc. So here is my concern. All the high quality GOOD cat food is sooo expensive. What kind of really good food can I feed them without breaking the bank? I do give them canned food too several times a week, But even the cheaper ones are costly too.  Please, any suggestions.
