Question
Dear Doctor Ry
Oh doctor!I'm feeling guilty for bothering you and it's just killing me!am I...am I bothering you by asking so many questions?!....well...if so,just tell me frankly.I wont ask questions anymore!
You know, actually i had asked a question from Marcia at first(as i didn't want to make you fed up of my questions!) ,but she refers me to you saying that she cant help me in this field.
I'd like to ask a question about one of my very special queens who is expecting nowadays.Princess is a two year and half white female Persian.she has just mated with an stud of my friend who is a five year old solid red Persian.well,I'm so excited and I'd like to know about the to be kittens possible colors.in fact, I've been searching in the Net for color predictors ,but the available color predictors do not supply white color I'm afraid.
Anyways, here are some other information which may help you:
Princess has given birth two times yet.first delivery was about one year ago.she had mated with an cream male and it led to a litter of two blue male kittens!(it was quite unpredictable as non of the sir and dam were blue!)
At second time she mated with a blue male and this time she gave birth to triplets including two white females and one blue male.
About Princess's parents , her mom was a blue Persian and her father was pure white just like princess I must say.
So,thank you a lot!
Soheil from Iran.

Answer
So if I have this right
Princess is White, but she carries Blue from her mum
The stud is a solid Red, do you know if he carries any colours as that will also determine the kittens.
The kitten possibilities are red and white tabbies, both male and female, red tortie females, red blotched kittens. But you could also get blues and reds depending on what the studs parents were, so maybe check their colours OK?
The blue kittens in the first litter came from her carrying blue from her mum.
You cannot get male torties normally, if they do produce them chances are they will be sterile

Hope this helps and remember I am happy to try answer any questions on cats
I intend to produce a colour chart in next few months showing kitten possibilities so just look out for it as well
