Question
Thanks a lot for your answer Barb.
In fact I want to breed her. If you think she is still young being 10 months old, then what can I do to stop her from crying? how can I help her until she is ready to get a man ??

Hi Barbara, How are You ?
I really need your help with my indoor Persian cat, she is 10 month old.
for the last month she has been continuously meowing , some time loud meow and some other times just little noise,  it started only at early morning hours every day, however, for the last few days it's becoming continuous.
I keep her in my bed room, I take a very good care of her, all vaccinations updated, best quality food and treat, I spend a good time talking to her and playing with her.
Today I took her to the vet who said that nothing is wrong with her apart from some gases for which caster oil is good.
I'm not satisfied with this, it deeply hurts me hearing her voices, I feel that she is crying, or that she wants something badly but cannot talk. I cry every time I see her suffering, I wish I know what is wrong with her.
One of my friend told me that her cat was the same at the age of 9 months and she decided to breed her (get her married) after which she was relieved, when I told this to the Vet. she said that my cat is too young to get married.
In fact I believe that could possibly the reason.
What do you think?
What is your advice??

-----Answer-----
It sounds to me like your cat does want to be mated. She is crying for a man. However, if she is only nine or ten months old, she needs to wait a little.
If you do not plan to breed your cat at all, ask the vet to spay her as soon as it can be arranged. If you are planning to breed her for kittens, then start looking for a good breeder with nice boys so she will have a good husband when she is ready at about 12 to 14 months of age.

Yours,
Barb

Answer
Breeders of pedigreed cats have asked that same question for many ages. There is no good answer. She will cry and roll and act like she is being tormented while she is in season. But that will stop shortly and she will become calm again in a few more days. Then next time this behavior starts, you will know what it means. She should be bred by the age of 12 months or a little more. Talk to a good Persian breeder and try to learn more about what you will need to know about breeding and raising Persian cats. And there is a LOT TO LEARN too!!!

Good luck,
Barb
