Worming meds for breeding females

Question
My breeding female came down with tapeworms, is the medication "cestex" ok to use on her if she is going to be breed in the next month or two ? If not, is there anything ?

I do not know that particular product. It is simple to learn the answer. Just call your vet and inquire for the best method of treating this problem. But definitely do treat it before you breed her. Also if there are fleas, which are the usual cause of tapeworm, they should be disposed of as soon as possible by using Frontline Plus on her and spraying the house.
