I have a six month old Black...

I have a six month old Black lab.  I recently found magets around her anus area and on her tail.  I don't know why or how she acquired these.  Please help.  I don't know if she needs medical attention.  Thank you.

Yes, she should be seen by a veterinarian.  Most likely there is some type of wound that attracted the flies to lay eggs.  The area should be clipped and cleaned.  She should be given Ivermectin to kill any existing maggots and be placed on antibiotics for secondary infection.
