heart murmur &slightly enlarged heart

THANKS ! my 7year male beagle went back to the vet for reavaluation after taking Clavamox. the infection has cleared but he still has a murmur &slight heart enlargement Can he still be able to use as my hunting dog as he just loves to go hunting with me for 2 weeks of the year! Ilove my dog very much but I know my dog would not stay at home while my other dogs go with me as he is the leader of all my other dogs! IS there aything I can do!      Heartbroken! THANKS AGAIN !

your dogs murmur probably has NOTHING to do with what infection he has.

Your dog should really have a chest xray done to evaluate the size of his heart and to see a vet cardiologist for an ultrasound to detect early signs of cardiac diease.

pets, just like people with heart problems can benefit and have problems with too much exercise.

get more information from your vet, but i would take a heart murmur lightly or a diganosis with out xrays or an ultrasound.
