Question
Hello, I have a question regarding my dogs. The other day I was giving my dogs a small bowl of milk and my nephew became very concerned and told me that giving a dog milk will cause worms. Is this possible? Should I have my dogs checked for worms by a Vet. I have over the years given my dogs milk on rare occasions. I also have had my dogs checked once a year at the Vet and they have been negative for internal parasites. I never knew that I could be hurting my dogs by giving them milk. Should I refrain from giving my dogs any kind of dairy product? Thank you for your time and assistance regarding my question. Beverly

Answer
Hi Beverly! I am so sorry for the late reply!I had over 5 bad viruses on my computer and it took a couple of days for a computer expert to fix it!Again,I am so sorry!

It is really not a good idea to give them milk as it can cause vomiting and diarrhea in pets as they can't digest it that well. Yes,I would recommend getting them checked out to see if there is anything wrong with them.NEVER give a dog or cat milk any time, even on a special occasion because it is very dangerous!Yes,I would highly recommend taking your dogs off all dairy products,as it is very dangerous.Be sure to feed them only their dog food. You can give them water.Be sure they always have fresh water.

I really hope this is helpful an good luck! Please keep me posted and give them kisses for me!
