Greyhound peeing indoors

Question
We have 2 retired greyhounds we have had them nearly a year now and the bitch has now started to pee indoors in the same place when we are at work. The first 3 months she never done this and it has become more and more often now being most days when we return.
She had cystitis which we had tablets for her and has finished her course, this seemed to have reduced the amount of pee's but now she still does it most days, we are getting another pee sample to take to our local vet on saturday to see if sh estill has it.
However we do wonder if it is a behavoural problem as she dotes on my husband and follows him everywhere. we do not let them upstairs, but when he goes upstairs or leaves the house, most of the time she starts wipering that hes gone. Also when we take them out for a walk, when my husband and i walk next to each other she drops behind and walks in the middle of us.
The important thing i know is to get another pee sample done to see if she still has cystitis. but need to know you views on if you've heard of this sort of thing happening before and a dog getting too attached to its owner.
We once had a guest over and she was not getting any attention and she normal goes up to the back door to ask to go to toilet outside, she did not do this and just sqatted on her bed and done infront of us.
Please can you advise us if this is normal behaviour or if there are things my husband and I can re-train her to stop her being like this.

Many many thanks for your time.

From a couple desperate for advise.

Answer
How about having your vet getting a STERILE urine sample directly from her bladder. Even a washed out bowl will have contaminants due to the urine comming out of the urethra and vaginal area.

Also request an xray. She could have bladder stones.

I really don't think this is a behavioral problem, but a cry that something is wrong.

good luck!
