4 week chi fell 3 ft

My 4 week old chi fell about 3 ft from my arms. He fell as i was bending down to sit, I felt horrible! But after that, he seemed really awkward, he was in a daze and was leaning over to one side, his heart rate was runny pretty fast and he wasn't making any noises (like he usually does). I calmed him down for about 45 min to an hour and than settled him back with his mother, he seemed like he was recovering a little after that, I'm just concerned if there are any internal or mental damage that may have occurred in the fall. Please advise!

The only way you will know if there is damage is to have a vet look him over. If his eyes are jerking or moving slowly from side to side rather jerkily then yes, he could have some brain damage. That is a long way for a 4 week old puppy to fall, but on the other hand, young animals are a lot tougher than we sometimes know and he may just be fine.
If you are worried I would take him to the vets.
