new born puppy

I just got a 7 week old Yorkshire Terrier thats very small I dont think she weights a pound.  My question is how active should she be at this age.  I think she was dehydrated because she wouldnt drink water for me.  I guess my main concern is Is she too young to not have formula in her diet?  She just sleeps most of the time and I was concerned.

You got your puppy too young. A good breeder would have kept that puppy till 9-10 weeks old. This makes sure they are socially stable and they are eating on their own with food and water.

Take your puppy to the vet. A puppy should be quite active, BUT they are still babies and like to sleep often.
