ARNICA MONTANA FOR MY CAT

I have a 16 yr old kitty that is suffering from urinary pain & I can't get her to the vet for 2 reasons,the vet is almost 40 miles from here & I believe she couldn't take the stress of the trip & we are in a financial crises & can't afford the minimum 350.00 that my vet said it would cost.I HATE to see her in such pain so a friend of mine suggested a herb called ARNICA MONTANA.30 cs in pellet form. i was wondering if this would be safe & effective for my kitty.

While I cannot find Arnica in the poisonous plants list anytime a cat this old is in pain from a urinary tract infection they MUST be seen by a vet and very quickly! To not do so is inhumane and very dangerous to her life.

Arnica is used mostly for pain from things like bruises etc. and any herb or drug you feed to a cat has a VERY HIGH RISK of being fatal to them.

Your cat is your family and she needs a doctor and soon. The traveling won't hurt her as much as letting her go in pain and having an infection is going to.

There are very few vets that charge $350 for an office call to see a cat. If so, call around. You will find a cheaper one somewhere.
