feline bone cancer

Question
My 12 year old male cat has been diagnosed with bone cancer in his lower jaw, and has been slowly losing weight and has a persistant cough.  He also has an open wound under his chin, which is either indicative of a tumor or somehow a result of the cancer.  Due to his age and heart murmur, I have opted not to pursue chemotherapy or radiation.  Is there anything I can do to improve his quality of life without having to resort to immediate euthanasia?

Answer
Hello,

You should feed him an all-natural diet that is void of preservatives, by-products and food colors.  Some good foods are Prairie, Nutro Natural, Verus, Innova, Artemus, Fromm, Precise, California Natural, Natural Balance...

If he will eat any raw meat, that would be great too.

And I would also recommend giving him Feline Transfer Factor Complete to boost up his immune system and help him fight the cancer naturally.  This is an all-in-on nutritional supplement designed for cats and has had some very positive effects on a lot of ill animals (and there are human formulas too if you would prefer to pill him versus mixing the powder in his food).
