Cut lower eye lid

Question
One of my Boston Terriers bit the other one on the eye, (pretty bad). His eye was tore from the corner half way across. It was separated but looks to be healing slightly together. His eyelid is drooping quite a bit. My dog is acting normal, eating playing..running around. You can tell that his eye bothers him. I know I need to make an appointment to the vet. I am doing that tomorrow. What can I do to make him feel better until the visit. I will not take him in as an emergency because of the cost. So I may have to wait a couple days.

Answer
Are you talking about his eyeball that is torn or the eyelid? Don't wait too long to have an eye looked at, some damage is not repairable if you wait to long. The only thing you can do is try to patch the eye to protect it and keep it clean. Since that is pretty hard to do if you never have, then just leave it alone but make sure it stays clean and keep the other dogs away from him.
I can't tell you to put anything in it since I am not sure what part of the eye you are saying is torn.
I know the cost of an ER vet is expensive but the office is open tomorrow isn't it?
I would get him in asap.
