Question
Hi,

We have a regular short haired cat, in good health about 11 years old.  She vomits about once a week from hairballs.  We just got new flooring in all areas of our home.  Obviously the cat vomiting can ruin our new carpet and laminate.  We have been giving her laxatone as a preventative as well as brushing her.  She is still having hairball episodes, though not as often.  Is it dangerous to give her laxatone daily?  What else can we do?

Answer
No, the laxatone could have a side effect of LOOSE poops..
That is the only thing you need to worry about.
Then, you may have poop on the floors ( carpet), rather than vomit.

Good luck!

You can give the laxatone daily, just keep an eye on her poops.

Thanks for the question!
