Canine Accidental Urination

Question
I have a Huskie/Collie mix (female).  She is 4 yrs old and is spaid.  I've noticed for the last couple of months that she urinates when scared, or you get up fast and move toward her.  Not much urine just spots, also when she is sleeping she leaks a little. Today when the Fed-x guy came she jumped on the couch and barked through the window and she leaked a little spot on the couch.  She does seem embarrassed by it and cleans herself.  Is there anything I can give her (vitamins)?  She does'nt seem to be in any pain.

thank you for you time,

Miles

Answer
Hi Miles, I understand your concern about this incontinence.  Yes, some medication and supplements may be in order ...
The supplements are important for her bladder health and wellness.  Many dogs tend to get arthritis as they get older and supplements will help prevent or lessen the problems...

Also, your girl may need a drug called DES.  This is a hormone only sold thru the vet office.  You will need a vet check up for this drug.

We can try some vitamins and supplements for your girl:
All are very good for her to be on daily:
YOU can find this product in most health stores and even supermarkets.

Cranberry Capsules - Please give her 2 per day - hide in some cheese. Cranberry is wonderful for her urinary health.

Next, A special vitamin / supplement called NuVET - she should be taking one per day for a lifetime of health.
This is an Immune System booster and healer.  This product will help her with many ailments that can hit your girl.
Wafer treats...very yum yum good.
ONLY .50 cents per day

CALL AND ORDER - USE PHONE ORDER CODE - 81098 ( ASK FOR THE 90Day guaranteed special ( They offer a 90 day guarantee for all phone orders)

The girls will happy to help you.. Order a 90 count of the NuVET Plus ... Ask about the Auto ship discount of 15%...

I sure hope the two items will help... Try them for at least 3 months.  If you still have a problem after 90 days, call the vet and tell them you may need some DES.  OK????
