Blindness in albino kittens

Question
I have three kittens.  Two weeks old.  Two are white & the other is white and orange.  The two white kittens have pink eyes and they don't act as curious as the other one.  They have started walking but to me they don't respond to sound or light.  They don't try to look at me the way the orange and white kitten does.  I hope that I'm wrong but could they be deaf and blind being albino?

Answer
Hi Donna.  Unfortunately, you may be right.  There is a mutation in white cats...they usually do turn out to be deaf, and being that their eyes are pink...this would make it very possible for them to be blind as well.  I would definately recommend a vet visit so your veterinarian can access them and let you know if they are deaf and blind.  Animals definately do accustom to disablilities better than we humans.  If they are indeed deaf and blind, there is no reason they will not live long and healthy lives.
Please let me know what is found.
