please help.. again

After you answered my first question my dog rapidly became better returning to his normal hyper ways, the swelling went down in his neck only now theres a new problem. To go over he is a large hound cross (approx. 120 pounds) and now has become extremely itchy, with sores resulting from his scratching and very dry skin. Im not really sure what to do about his dry skin to help with the itching, can you recomend a product or remedy thanks, again nikki

Hello Nikki-  Yes, you can do a few things - Give him Benadryl 50 mg every 8 hrs for the next day or two...Call your local vet, they may be able to give him a steroid shot for the itching.

Please give him a Doggie Oatmeal Shampoo bath 2 x per week.. Make sure you pat him dry and not to rub his skin.  The oatmeal bath will make him feel better.
