dog just had heart wirm treatment

i got a 1 1/2 doberman and she had heart worms i took her to the vet to get it taken care of she is back and now where they injected her it is swollen i was just wondering if this is normal or do i need to get her looked at

You may want to call the VET about this - Ask if you can give him 25 mg of Benadryl every 6 hrs for the Swelling... They may want you to give him even 50 mgs just for tonight.  
Give them a call and let them know what you are looking at.
It may be a very common reaction.
