Voice box removal

Good day,
Could you point me to a Veterinarian within a days drive of South-West Virginia that can remove the voice box (vocal cords?) of our small parrot? We like the bird, and have been working with it for 3 years (its 5 years old) but its last owner really taught it well (not). And to pre-empt.. ...yes,yes,yes, no,no,no to all the "did you try...." and "you should never...." questions that might be asked of us.  We want to keep the bird (think he/she would die without my son), but we cant live another 3 year or for that matter one more year with the sound.

No, I do not have the name of a doctor that would consider removing the vocal chords of your parrot.     You should consider finding a home for your bird if he does not speak the way you want him to speak.
