lab puppy in heat

I have a four month old yellow lab puppy.  Is it possible for her to go onto heat this young?  I just cleaned up a small accident in my family room and it looked like blood in the urine spot.  She has also been urinating frequently for the last two days. Please help.

Pretty unlikely that she is in heat. I would suspect a urinary tract infection since she is going a lot. Frequent urination is a sign of either cystitis or a bladder stone or infection.

She needs to see the vet and have an x-ray to see if she has a stone in her bladder. We have seen them  as young as 7 weeks with stones (a lot of them!) so that is a possibility.
Call the vet before tomorrow is over and make an appointment soon.
