Puppy has a cold? Flu?

I have a 5 month old half shitzu and half bichon frise. When he goes outside, he has been sticking his head in the snow banks, which may have something to do with his symptoms. For the past couple days, he has been sneezing a lot, wheezing, reverse sneezing, and just now, I noticed his nose was running and it is also very dry. He was very tired all day today and tomorrow we are planning to bring him to someone to watch him while we were out of town. Do you know what is wrong?

Well I would say he has a virus. He should see a vet before you take off to get some antibiotics. Most vets give them to prevent secondary infections from these viruses.

Hopefully he is vaccinated and has his rabies vaccine too. I would have a vet look him over good before you go however.
I am sure he will be fine, but better safe then sorry.
