why is my cats tummy saggy?

saggy tummy Hi,

I have a one year old persian female. Not spayed and never had a litter yet. I noticed after trimming her coat down that she has a very saggy stomach. Is this normal?

While this is more common in spayed females it is rather common in Persians of all ages.
If you are not going to breed her get her spayed as it will prevent her from getting all kinds of cancers and mammary tumors.

I don't think I have ever seen a Persian, except for a very young kitten, that didn't have a saggy tummy.
