Dachsund Discharge

I have a one year old Dachsund female that has been spayed.  She occasionally has a smelly discharge, but I can't tell which orafice at her rear end it is discharging from.  It does appear to be clear.  Is this normal?

Go ahead and make an appt to see your vet.

Have her anal glands checked. That could be one of the problems. Some dogs need some extra help expressing these glands.

Your vet should also check her vaginal area for any irritation or discharge. Even though she is spayed some dogs can get vaginigitis.
