my dogs had puppies last night, the puppies are nursing off the mother but the last litter she had died, to my understanding, her milk wasn't any good.  they gave her some medicine but i would like to nurse the puppies from a bottle.  What kind of milk do i need to purchase

First of all, get your dog to see the vet to make sure that she is healthy enough to produce enough milk for the puppies. She should be eating a HIGH quality puppy diet for her and her puppies right now.

What the puppies need most right now is her colostrum. If you want to supplement with puppy replacer, you should purchase KMR (this can be found at most pet stores). Feed the puppies every few hours till satiated.
